Más del 90% de los adultos españoles han pasado, durante su infancia, el virus de la varicela. [1]

La popularmente conocida como “culebrilla” y técnicamente llamada “Herpes Zóster”, comparte con la varicela el mismo origen, el virus varicela-zoster. [2]

Su primera aparición acostumbra a ser en infancia queda latente en nuestro organismo hasta que despierta ante el despiste de nuestro sistema inmunitario. [3]

En este episodio el médico de familia José María Ferrer, también docente en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, nos responderá a todas las dudas que tengamos sobre este virus.
